How to copy the audio portion of a video event

I'm searching for a way to extract the audio file from a video event for use under other video clips. Thanks in advance for any help.

Copy the event, paste it, click on it, press U to ungroup the audio from the video, click on the video part to select it, press the Delete key.

Or if you want to use the audio in another project you can render the clip as a .wav file and bring into that project.
