Yes, this is actually quite easy to do in Vegas:

1. Duplicate the audio track

2. Right click on one of the tracks and select "Channels" then "RIGHT Only"

3. Right-click on the other track and select "Channels" then "LEFT Only"

4 Right-click on one of the tracks and select "Switches" then "Invert Phase". Do this for just one track, not both.

The idea behind this is that vocals are usually located in the "Center". That is, they are the same on both the right and left channels. By separating the channels on to different tracks and inverting the phase of one of them, we wind up negating anything that is common to both channels.

Good thing it's just a kid singing, and not being used for commercial purposes. I can't even begin to list the copyrights which may have just been infringed upon.

1 - Rip the track.

2 - Copy it to another track.

3 - Put VREMOVER DX plug (www.analogx.com) on Tk1 (hey, it easy - just one button !)

4 - On Tk 2 Drag EQ bnd 4 (LP shelving down to around 100Hz.

5 - Mix-n-match to get a compromise of centre-cut, and replaced bass.

Does not work well if lots of off-centre maion vox material, lots of fx, or lots of reverb.
