Hi,
I'm running Movie Studio Platinum v9.0b (Win XP Pro) and am new at making videos. What I want to be able to do is to make educational videos that teach people how to run software. I've got the concept of the timeline, and how to insert my screen capture movies from Camtasia, how to insert JPGs and still graphics and how to put a voice/audio track down - but where I'm hitting the pothole is in titling.
How do you make titles that really look professional and not "home movie-ish" - maybe even title screens that have light animation in them - what software do you need to do that? The Media Generator in Movie Studio either just doesn't do it or I'm missing something. The kind of titling effects I'm wanting to do are sort of like those in Tech Republic's IT Dojo video series. I'm not talking about copying them - but just that level of titles and overlay text screens (like they have at the bottom sometimes).
Sorry for rambling on, but if anyone can point me in the direction of a piece of software or a online lesson on how to do more professional title screens - I'd be most grateful.
Thanks much.
