Unfortunately you have hit on a group of
settings/combination of hardware that creates files that
are marked as 96k but are really using 48k data. There is
no easy way to change this using any SF product.
I'm going to suggest you go the painful route and re-record
everything at 48k. You really aren't gaining anything by
having the DVD player upsample to 96k. To be good and safe,
using the new settings, record one file, close down the
system, re-open and play back the new recorded file-
everything should be fine, but you don't want to repeat
this process a third time.
