How to: External mon on VX2000

I have a vx2000. How do I set up Vegas and the vx2000 to output the monitor preview function in vegas to a crt via my vx2000?

I have a VX2000 and I didn;t need to do anything special to make it work as an external monitor preview. Just connect the camera to the computer via firewire... connect the camera to the TV/Monitor using the standard composite A/V connections (or the SVIDEO if your monitor supports that). Then click the "external preview" icon in Vegas.

In my case I did not need to change any setting on the camera as it seems to default to passing through the video from the DV->A/V. If your camera is setup to feed A/V->DV then you will have to change the menu setting so it is the right way around.
