If it is a overflow, type of distortion, levels exceeding 0dBFS, the Clipped Peak Restore process in Noise Reduction-2 "may" help. However if it's preamp overdrive or a line level fed to mic level mismatch, you're pretty much SOL.

With just slight preamp overload you can sometimes fix it with Clipped Peak Restoration. The trick is to first in SF apply just enough gain to get hard digital clipping and then apply CPR.
Thing is CPR looks for anumber of max value samples in sequence and analogue overloads don't produce this.
I've had some, limited success using this technique. It may produce results that are pretty close to "what distortion" to "a bit distorted but better" to "Distorted distortion".
