How to get back default color in plug-in interfaces?

I am working on a new color-grading plug-in and I noticed there does not seem to be a way of returning to a default color choice in the Vegas plug-in interface. With sliders, we can just double click on the center of the slider we have repositioned, and it just jumps back to its default value. But not with a color choice.

For example, in the plug-in I am working on, a palette of eight colors is presented:

Let’s say I changed the third one of them (marked Red):

And later I decide I want it back at default (and presumably do not remember what the default was, which is hard in this example but even then it is extra work). OK, so now what? Double clicking on it will just pop up a color chooser, not restoring the default color.

Clicking on the word (Default) does nothing unless I first select a non-default preset and, besides, I may not want to restore everything to defaults, only the one color, or just several of them.

So, how do I do that? Or is it another frustratingly missing feature?
