Sorry but your problem isn't easily understood. What do you mean by "real clips"? The time line and media pane will show thumbnails of clips you have added.

Hans Beumer. When I opened up my computer today, I found the time line as well as the clip box full of media files. The video length is about 40 mins. Is there anything I can do to bring back the real clips or do I have to start again? I would appreciate a bit of help, thank you

@hans-b Are you having a repeat of your old problem of nearly three years ago. If so please explain your problem in more detail.
