How to get Vegas to create new region

I would like to create a new region by using the edit details. I have precise regions in trimmer and the audio on the file is screwed. I had to recapture, but I would like my regions that were in my original file in this new file. Anyone?

If you've already created Regions in the Trimmer they are accessible in the Vegas Explorer - Region View rather than Edit details.
