How to import 2 audio inputs in sony vegas pro

Hi!

I went to film on location and plugged in 2 audio inputs on my camera: one to record the surroundings and the other was a handmic.

But when I try to go and edit it in Sony Vegas Pro 13.0, only one audio track shows up. Both audio merged into one track. Which makes editing extremely difficult because I have no control over the volume difference within both tracks. How do I import this video with both audio tracks instead of them merging into one?

Check "Options/Preferences/General/Import stereo as dual mono".

Another method is to duplicate the audio track. Right click on one of them and set it to Channels - Right Only. Right click the other track and set it to Channels - Left Only.
Done.
