Hello, I imported a file from an Atomos Shogun with 4 tracks of audio (with sound on tracks 3&4), but Vegas only brought in 1&2. I know about the setting for multiple audio tracks from an mxf file, is there a similar setting to bring in all the tracks for an .mov file?
This is a known problem of mxhevcplug.dll issue for reading ProRes multiple audio.
The only alternative way is to temporarily disable this plugin.
Go to C:\Program Files\VEGAS\VEGAS Pro 14.0\FileIO Plug-Ins (default folder installation), then rename the mxhevcplug folder to something else (like mxhevcplug_OFF)
By doing this, VP14 will use older QT7plug.dll to read.
Now you have option to export each audio track to another wav, then enable the plugin again, or continue your editing with qt7plug.
Thanks, Set, I shall try that! Is there any advantage to using mxhevcplug over QT? I wouldn't mind turning it off permanently.
The luminance range with mxhevcplug is more correct:
While with qt7plug, 16-235 is 'stretched' to 0-255 and clipping 0-16 and 235-255:
