You may have to render the FLASH files to MOVIE files then import and work with them.

But I will be checking back because I too will be working with some FLASH.

Don't waste a lot of time finding out that you CAN'T render to Quicktime.
What appears to be a render, is actually pointers, pointing back to the flash files in a Quicktime wrapper.
Render or export your Flash files as numbered still frames.
Vegas will import them as an animation. Try a test before you book a job, but it should work.

There is also a 3rd party app called SWF2Video...

Seems to work well!
