How to keep clips at original size?

Probably a really simple question. I'm almost embarrassed to ask. But say I 320x240 WMV file that I want to put on DVD. I'd like its original size kept, and have it letterboxed, even though I want the project to be NTSC 720x480. Do I have to use the event pan/crop for this, or is there an easy setting I haven't found? Thanks.

Pan/Crop works very well for this. Make sure your project properties are set for 720x480, then in the Pan/Crop window enter 720.0 and 480.0 for size. Under Source, check both Maintain aspect ratio and Stretch to fill frame. The small video will now be centered in the screen. You can also move it around wherever you want it.

Thanks. That's what I ended up doing. I find that this is good for low res content (stuff you get from the web, perhaps). File sizes are considerably smaller as well.
