How to make a phone sounded like effect with vegas

I want to make a conversation on a video sound like a phone effect with vegas, does anyone know how? I've tried chorus effect and others with sound forge, but I can't figure out, I always come here cuz I know you guys are cool.

You would use an eq to limit the bandwith of your sound, the Track eq would be a good start. I would use a band pass that would reject high and low frequencies.
You can also add a small amount of distorsion it can help.
Any delay based effect (chorus/flanger etc) won't do you any good for what you're trying to acheive.

Add the Parametric EQ effect and select "Phone Line Effect" from the presets.
