How To Make DVDs from FLV sources w/V7/DVDA?

I see a lot of flvs on the net that I'd like to create my own DVDs from, for personal use/watching only ...

Anyone have any suggestions as to how to import flvs into DVDArchitect, and/or use Sony for renders, to be able to get them onto DVD for watching on a tv set top DVD player, vs pc only?

I know that it'll be bad video quality, but that's ok since I don't have the source avis...

The only way I can figure out so far, is to use camtasia to manually cap and convert each flv to avi, and that's way too time consuming.

Any better way to import flvs into vegas/dvda, to create (junky looking) DVDs for set-top watching?

From what I've seen, current software that claims to backconvert "flv to avi" is just low end junk software that's not as good as vegas... so, any ideas on the EASIEST way to convert 320x240 or 480x360 source flvs, to a video source that DVDA can read (and then reconvert to mpg/vob) so I can make DVDs out of them?

thx,

Ken

The easiest way I have found is to use two computers. Play it out on one and capture on the other through a capture card. My laptop has S-Video out so that works good.

I found Moyea FLV to Video Converter a good piece of software to directly convert FLV to AVI, WMV or some other formats.

Hey Marco, thanks a lot... I just downloaded and tried it, works perfectly. what's impressive is the speed, eg I converted a 22-meg flv to avi and it took less than 20 seconds... super recommendation, thanks! and the picture quality looks fine.
