Can you explain what you're trying to do? Your post doesn't really let us know what problems you're having.

Vegas can mix multiple audio sources together and render the final output to MP3 format. SoundForge can take a single audio file and save it to MP3 format.

Sorry about that . It goes like this , when I first installed V.Audio into my computer , I could render my mix into different format including MP3 . But when I installed it into my computer the 2nd time after I reformatted my HD, I can only get to choose between wave or Aiff only . Did I miss out something .
Pls help,TQ.

You need to re-register your app so that you can in turn re-register your mp3 encoder (or are they done simultaneously??). Come to think of it I think registering your app automatically registers the encoder. Either way...

Sorry to ask this but what is APP?

APPlication, in other words the software in question.
So, you need to re-register Vegas with Sonic Foundry.

And you don't 'mix into an mp3' at the best of times. You mix (render) to a track which is linear PCM (wav or w64 file). It turns into an MP3 when you 'Save As'.
