How to move all elements together

Hi all,

I'm just wondering if there's any easy way to move all elements accordingly after inserting a clip in the middle? The way I'm doing it right now is that I have to press shift and click on all elements to the right of the clip I inserted to move them a bit more along the timeline. Is there any automated function to make this faster since once I have a lot of audio/video clips, it's pretty frustrating to do this and it's very easy to make mistakes of not moving one or two clips along with others.

Thanks,
Marty

On the toolbar select auto ripple. Click on the little arrow to the right of the box and you'll see 3 choices. Select the bottom choice to have the edit affect all tracks, markers and regions.

Also, you can select each event and right click. Then select group to group the selected events together so they move as one. Then also use auto ripple. Be careful with auto ripple, it can mess you up if you don't think about what's happening further down the timeline.

I'll try that option, just want to confirm that the ripple edit goes for all the tracks including if I delete one section of the track, correct?

You need to set it that way with the dropdown menu.
