How To Pan/Crop Image "Windows"

Is there a way to move a cropped image to different positions within the video frame? Ie, crop an image to a small window so that most of the video frame is black, and then reposition the cropped image to say the left or right side of the video frame?

This would allow, for example, creating a split scene with image on one side and titles against black on the other, or positioning multiple image windows against a black frame.

I understand most of how the pan/crop tools work, but I can't seem to find this functionality. Thanks!

Thanks -- that's what I was looking for.

One other question: is there some way to get the cursor in the track motion keyframe area to match the current cursor setting in the workspace?

I've got a pretty long track, and it's a nightmare opening up track motion each time and having to try to find the right spot in the track from there.

At the bottom of the Track Motion window there's an icon on the left that looks like an I-bar cursor with a padlock. Click that and it will lock the keyframe cursor to the timeline cursor.

Did you know that you can leave the Track Motion window open while you continue moving around and editing on the timeline?
