This is very helpful. It looks like the easiest way to adjust the offset is by running the script once and seeing how far off you are, then just adjusting the x and y values a couple of times. I thought you might be able to do it by positioning some sample text and reading those x and y coordinates, but that doesn't work.
No need to duplicate the track (but an option). If you want to get rid of the mask you could also use the Blend setting in the General Options tab of the Bézier Mask FX.
To better control the offsets you can use any of the given Vegas Pro tools: Pan/Crop (like shown in the tutorial), the Picture-in-Picture FX or Track Motion. The offset settings in the script are the least useful controls, imho, as you can't see what the offset really is.
We don't know but as now a script is available which works for the Titles&Text position data I wouldn't be surprised if one of the scripting masters here could adapt this script to carry the data over to the Picture-in-Picture-FX position data (which then would allow to track any kind of video frame).
I just saw it's already a feature of latest Vegasaur 3.4 (to attach the Vegas Pro tracking data to selected Video Events). And it works fine. To offset use Track Motion. Thanks altarvic, great new feature!

I have to congratulate the work of the Vegas development team for the Motion Track feature.
It is much faster and much more accurate and efficient than the Motion Track of other famous video editors in the market.
And now with his addition to Vegasaur what was good got even better.
Many thanks to the development team from Vegas and Vegasaur.
