You must have missed the 2nd and 3rd things I wrote 😙 If it's just a subset, I don't know if what I'm seeking would be included.

One main reason I'd choose SmartSubscription is access to the stock footage collection which I understand is a subset of Storyblocks content.

My question is this: How can we preview the content before purchasing a SmartSubscription, to see if it would be worth it to to us? For instance, I'm interested in green-screen content that I see on Storyblocks, but I have no idea if it'd be included with my SmartSubscription.

Here's some things it found but hard to say without knowing exactly what you're looking for:

Following @jetdv's search inside VEGAS Hub, here's what I see in Storyblocks' site:

Based on my experience so far, all stocks as long as it is under Video and Audio are included :

But for video, you can only download the 'Footage' and 'Backgrounds' category, not the 'Templates'*.

Should you need the specific one, you can notice the 'Asset ID' SBV-**** for videos or SBA-**** for audio:

(Asset-ID info is available after you make an account in Storyblocks):

And type that in VEGAS Hub's search, you will instantly find what you need:

Click on it and you can download it:

*For Templates category, it is SBV-**** Asset ID coded as well, searchable and found in VEGAS Hub, but you can't download it.

Just a note that as best as I can understand it, after the Smartscriptions period ended, that is two years after you make a purchase, the ability to access the stock footage is also stopped, and you need to resubscribe again.

From my experience I'd say at least 90% of Storyblocks audio and video is included. For two recent projects, someone else was selecting both the music and a few video clips on Storyblocks, before I put them into the Vegas project, one song however I just could not find, so I ended up subscribing to Storyblocks for one month.

I'm curious @wjauch, can you share the storyblocks link of the song you are looking that was not found?

@set sure. I don't care, and now when I search for that on Storyblocks it doesn't come up. (Song was originally found by one of the producers, don't know what she searched for but pretty sure I found it by searching for "I don't care". Searching for SBA-347490291 (part of the downloaded file name from Storyblocks) does find it however as does searching for "I care"

That makes sense. But I'm guessing that just like with StoryBlocks direct membership, assets downloaded within Vegas Hub are still downloaded and can still be used even after SmartSubscription is over, ya?
