unfortunately, this raises them all, but willusually work, if not, just temporarily normalize that one event and use the volume handle to make it visually the same level

You can normalize like pipline said, then if you open up the properties of that clip it'll tell you how much gain it has added. You can then compensate this by changing the track volume or envelope, thus keeping the original audio level of the clip. It works for me :)
