How to question...amplitude of waveform display.

I'm trying to line up two audio clips (many more in the future) one of which was recorded at a much lower volume. I need to be able to increase the amplitude of the waveform display so the similarites between the two tracks will be more evident. How do I do this?

click the event and hold shift then press the up arrow

unfortunately, this raises them all, but willusually work, if not, just temporarily normalize that one event and use the volume handle to make it visually the same level

You can normalize like pipline said, then if you open up the properties of that clip it'll tell you how much gain it has added. You can then compensate this by changing the track volume or envelope, thus keeping the original audio level of the clip. It works for me :)
