How to re-import .wav file w/ multiple takes?

I was doing some ADR and Vegas 8 crashed. I lost some of the ADR I was doing. I can find the files, but can't figure out how to re-import them into Vegas 8 w/ their take info in tact.

I think the 'take' info is stored in the project file, not the wav file.

That said it shouldn't be too hard to rebuild the project.
