So, I avoid using stills as much as possible, but every now and then I have a project where it's necessary, or the bulk of the project is pan and scan.
While I'm a reasonably technically minded person, I have to say that this problem has haunted me what seems like forever.
I was putting a personal project together (I'm an avid sea kayaker) and lo, the small ripples in the water don't just flicker, they shimmer. Sure, it's sort of a neat effect, if it really detracted from the image itself.
So, how does one reduce this problem? Is it a matter of just reducing the image sizes, or is there something I should do in photoshop to deal with the problem?
Lil help?
