How to Register Trial

Bulkhead wrote on 4/23/2017, 10:37 AM

Hello,

I am stumped and that is embarrassing. Perhaps it is too early for my brain to work correctly or I have not had enough coffee, but I cannot figure out how to register the trial version of Suite 14. (BTW: I am an owner of Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 13 and before that v11)

I have downloaded the software, installed and launched it. I am prompted with a dialog to activate with a license key or to start a trial and am prompted to enter a trial activation code. I have scoured the website, but cannot figure out where to go to complete a registration code request. I've searched the forum but haven't found an answer yet. Apologies if one exists and I haven't seen it.

Can someone please point me to the registration page?

Thank you

Thank you Cornico,

I figured it wasn't as difficult as it appeared to be. The third dialog box that you show in you screen clips does not appear for me. My system goes straight to your fourth image.

I will explore how to remedy that as I trial software in a protected environment that may be limiting the software's ability to spawn a new window (that may be browser based).

Thanks again,

I click start trial on pic 1, get 2.

I click register now on 2 to get 3.

everything is greyed out.  How do I submit for registration code? here or on the website?

That answer dodges the problem with this product.

How about an alternate way to request a code, such as through the website? or is that too simple?

And what is up with only 4 hours of customer service.

Is there an email I can request a code?

It happened to me identically.

I only found the TRIAL Number registration by canceling or closing the desktop application.

Again I opened it, continued the process, redirected me back to the site: MAGIX (I had already registered) and logged in.

This time I got a third e-mail with the following subject: Your product registration at www.magix.com.

I hope it can be useful.
