Just above the preview window, near the right side of the row of icons, is an icon that looks like two pieces of paper overlaid on top of each other. Hover over it with your mouse and it should say "Copy Snapshot to Clipboard." Click on that. For best results, set the preview quality to "Best" before taking the snapshot.

If you do a lot of this, there is a script that temporarily changes all the settings to their optimimum values so that you get the best possible resolution, and handle the deinterlacing issues correctly. You can download this script, along with others at:

Scripts

Here's the copy snapshot to clipboard script:

C & P-ed from the Help file;

(From the Video Preview window)

Click the Video Preview Quality button and choose a setting from the menu to change the resolution of the Video Preview window.

<Select "Best".>

(To) Copy the current frame to the clipboard
Click the Copy Snapshot to Clipboard button to copy the current frame to the clipboard.

(To) Save the current frame as a file
Click the Save Snapshot to File button to save the current frame as an image file.

The Image Filename dialog is displayed to allow you to choose the format and location where you want to save the file.

You'll also want to enlarge your preview screen before taking the snapshot, or else you'll get a lower resolution file.

It will be "greyed" out if you have preview to a monitor enabled.
