How to save intro templates

I know someone in vegas world can tell me how to correctly save an into in sony vegas movie studio . Would like to keep the intro, and use it for future productions. I did save in sony vegas however I can not import into new production. It only opens back up and will not open up as an available media event.

I think you are talking about nesting. Sony VMS does not let you do that. The Pro versions do. Your options with Studio are: render it out in any format you might need and import the footage or, save just the intro as a project and open that up any time you start a new project.
