How to select envelopes?

I got Pan, Volume and Gain. More often than not they're all on top of one another. I want to adjust Gain but for the life of me the only way I find to get to it is by moving the others out of the way.
I've scanned the Help which reveals naught. Help! Surely there's a way to cycles through the envelopes. I've had this problem before when using a number of automation envelopes, I managed to muddle through it but I'd really like to smooth out my workflow.

On your PCs keyboard, the 'P' and 'V' keys toggle the respective envelope display on / off in the selected track(s). 'Shift+P' (or) 'Shift+V' toggles all tracks, as does "Insert> Audio Envelopes"

You can assign y'own keystrokes as well, "Options> Preferences> Keyboard".
