how to set frame rate to 5 fps?

I'm editing an AVI created by a screen capture utility at 5 fps. I need to output the finished AVI file also at 5 fps. In the Vegas 4 rendering options, the slowest rate is 15 fps (multimedia). How can I output at 5 fps?

You'll need to create a custom AVI template for this purpose (Render As | Custom).

Choose your desired video format (codec), non-NTSC and non-PAL of course, and type in 5.0 for the frame rate. Enter a different name for the template, update the description and save it (the Save Template button looks like a floppy disk).

Use this new template for your 5 fps renders.

Thanks! I didn't realize you could type in a number, I thought you had to use the drop down.
