I wasn't aware one could apply it at render? I do know of the metronome clicking that you can apply on the timeline. Are you absolutely sure you didn't have this still applied when you rendered? If you did, you would have heard it. But then again, if you had the sound turned down - can't image why - you wouldn't have heard it.

Maybe there is a way of applying Metronome at render? New one on me though ..

Options - Metronome.
And, according to the Vegas help file, "The metronome’s sound is not mixed in the final rendering of the project" so you shouldn't be hearing it on your rendered file - unless you're bringing this back into Vegas without turning the metronome off.

It's morning over here Grazie and I've only had one coffee so far.
Praying for rain so todays's outdoor shoot gets cancelled but the skies are getting better all the time. Looks like I'll actually have to work today :-(
