How to structure a DVD in DVDA

I have never been too clear on the best way to do this. I know it is possible to do it both, but which is the better way. Eg. Make 3 seperate mpg & ac3 (from the timeline-using rendered areas only) files in Vegas put them in DVDA as menus. Create ONE mog & ac3 file drag it to the project multiple times with different start chapters. Does doing it this way REALLY put more copies of the same file on the DVD or just pointers?

I prefer the one long file, and pointing to different segments within it - multiple times.

DVDA2 puts only pointers to the media you have included multiple times - it does not duplicate.
AFAIK, DVDA1 does duplicate the media - which are you using?

I like the one big file better because Disc navigation is better behaved on 'Play All' - but you also get all of the one-at-a-time ability that you would with smaller titles.
With a bunch of smaller files linked together with end-actions, it is difficult to reverse past the beginning of the segment currently being displayed.

With one big file and multiple views, navigation is simplified, but editing is slightly more cumbersome than with smaller chunks.

I have seen reports of those who like to work with smaller files, and link them in DVDA - it really end's up being just a work-flow issue, and your computer (how fast, how much disc space).
