How to type @ in mediagen. text

I cannot type the "letter" @ in mediagenerator/text properties.
AltGr and 2 - always bring up Vectorscope.
How to write an @ in an aftertext to a movie?

Try typing 0064 on the numeric keypad while holding down the Alt key. @

On a US keyboard @ is Shift+2. (I don't even have an AltGr key?) It could be your keyboard mapping is incorrect.

Its probably a national keyboard issue (sweden)
Shift+2 didn´t work
but Alt+0064 did the trick

Start - Programs - Accessories - System Tools - Character Map
Select the font you're using, click the desired symbol and you'll what you need.
