how to undo video effect?

How do I undo video effect in my project file? I have save my project file already, now I want to undo it but I just can't', this effect has apply to my whole project file, I only want it to go into one event.

If the effect was applied to the whole project, click the Video Output FX button on the preview window. Then select the relevant effect in the FX chain (string of buttons at the top of the Video FX window) and hit the Remove Selected FX button. To the right of the FX chain is a set of three buttons -- the Remove Selected FX button is the one in the middle.

Delete the FX from where you applied it.
