It didn't say add upscale to the output Fx. Add upscale at the media or event Fx level.

There's 4 ways of adding an fx, it does say 'event effect & media effect' in the instructions & why the 'slider remains inactive',

I can add upscale with slider to each part of the movie, but I can't add it to the whole project. Maybe someone knows how to do it? Because if I use slider, the quality is better.

Yes, IIRC the slider is only at the event fx level, and if you use media fx instead, it upscales to whatever the project settings are. So, if you want to upscale to 4k, you set the project to 4k.

R click the video event on the timeline, select 'Media FX' and then use the 'fx+' icon to select the wanted FX. When added, that FX will apply to any inclusion of that video event or edit of that event on the timeline.

I select the scene. Then Media Fx. Then "denoise" and a black screen appears. Why?

Denoise as a Media FX works fine here on my middle level spec'd laptop. Could you please provide your computer's specs including the CPU specs, RAM and GPU as well as the GPU's RAM.

Why use upscale/denoise with computer generated content that doesn't have noise?

If you exit that window and then create a selection on the timeline and press shift-b, do you see any frames? It could be slow to process.

Here's my question, when Upscaling parts of clips for zoom purposes are you better off rendering using CPU only or, in my case eGPU.

Or I guess the better question is is it better to AI Upscale or just zoom with pan and crop?
