How to: use Vegas to print time/date of tape

I didn't know that I would need the time and date burned on the tape when I recorded this construction video. Is there a way to put it on in post? I know the time code is there, I can see the time in preview on my little panni (when hooked to the computer and used to view via firewire)

Anyone also know how to change the timecode font, on the tmecode plugin-,waiting to install 9.0b?? I would like it to look like 'system' sometimes and not this nice arial.

In Project Media, for each piece of video you have in the project:
1. Right click each clip and choose Media FX
2. Add Sony TImecode from the dropdown

Hmnm....don't know if you can change the font though...

See if DVdate (it's free) will do what you want.
BTW, this app is for SD only so if you have HD, you're out of luck.
