Or other languages? One nice thing about elementary streams... drag and drop just ONE video file onto a button along with appropriate AUDIO track... now DVDA only works with a/v mpegs...
so if I want a DVD with director's commentary, english, and say spanish tracks, I now have to put video on 3x?
It's not a problem, but a feature!
Really, I think companies like SoFo miss the whole
boat by trying to create somthing they can sell 10,000
times. I would pay much more for a really decent
authoring program that approaches the Sonic Maestro
high-end. The closest thing is either DVDSP - get a MAC
as a dongle or $4,000 for Sonic Fusion which is not that
great. Maybe they are working on it and just need some
quick cash buy rolling out DVDA?
I would not call limited audio streams something in the feature category. But I know what you were saying. And I wasn't trying to imply that it was a bug. Only that multiple audio streams is a very used "feature" of the DVD specs. I would have said that should have been a minimum feature for the release.
However, I also think that they may have been doing like Adobe did with InDesign and needed a little quick cash. InDesign went from version 1 to 1.5 in 6 months. Then to version 2 in like another 6 months. Or something really short.
Plus, SoFo gets an idea of how well it will be recieved and get ideas while they are working on finishing up the other features.
