Hub downloads

Roger Bansemer wrote on 12/8/2023, 12:26 PM

After downloading several clips from the Vegas Hub, I have no idea where they are by default downloaded to. I can't even find a file name to do a search for the clips. Secondly, is there somewhere that I can make a directory to save them to. I was able to accomplish this until the last update now I'm at a loss.
Thanks. Roger

When you did not set it in the Hub explorer by choosing a location, mostly it is stored at the default Windows download location.
To set it in a special location follow this

Thank you very much. I was looking in the hub area and not the explorer area. I appreciate your help. Roger

Do you see them in Hub Explorer in VEGAS?

I'm still having trouble downloading music and trying to find out where it is? Can someone please explain what I might be doing wrong? I've downloaded music in the past but now anything I download I can't find. Even when I do an explorer search I come up with nothing. Here's a screen shot of what I have set up in Vegas. I'm messing up somewhere.

Is it in My Documents/ VEGAS?

Is it in My Documents/ VEGAS?

Hi Roger. It's not in "My Documents" however I did discover one thing... when I download a song with a title of for instance Brand New Day, when I go to the Vegas explorer where all my songs are it is not listed as Brand New Day but rather "AudioClip222232432.mp3" That's why I'm not able to find what I've downloaded. So I have a bunch of files just named "AudioClip222... and so on. This is not at all helpful when I look for a song I want.

Any suggestions? Thanks

Vegas Hub downloads go to Documents/VEGAS/VEGAS Content.. Using Windows 'Details' view, you can easily find the most rescently downloaded files and use 'Rename' to rename the download to a name of your choice.

Thanks. I had figured out and know where the files were saved. What threw me was the name of the song was changed to the word "audioclip" with a number so it is difficult to find the song unless like you say and immediately go there and change the name.

now is the problem on my end, that i can only download one item, then i have to log out and back into vegas huv to download the next element.

I'm also having this problem: I can only download one item at a time without logging out and back in. This is a major irritant. Has anyone found a fix for this ? I just upgraded to version 22 this summer and installed an upgrade yesterday Sept. 10. Thanks for any insights.

I opened a new project this morning and was able to download several audio files to the timeline just fine.
