i asked this question a while back and received one reply..
i tried his suggestion but it didnt work...
basically whats happening is if i use the wave effect
combined with the chroma keyer plug in , the resulting
output of a ntsc dv rendered 3 second clip is 200
megabytes.. it also happens when using just the wave plug
in... im stumped and no one seems have any sort of
solutions.. i tried changing the codec , but i got the same
result...
also , another issue im having is that when ever i use the
titling feature of vegas , the screen darkens for the
portion of time when the title is displayed...
for example , ill create a title , then fade it in.. right
as the title begins to fade in the preview will increase in
opaqueness and darken.. then when the title is fully faded
out the preview returns to its full brightness... once
again , im stumped.. i checked the background opacity of
the text media editing window and its set to fully
transparent so i know its not bleeding through... to add
insult to injury , i figured using if i created the title
in photoshop with a blue background , and then used the
chroma keyer to key out the blue it would work...but
NOPE...same darkening effect when the title fades in...
vegas video 2.0 b
800 mhz pIII
128 megs ram
40 gig hard drive...
any help?
