@dape … Ignite Pro version 4.1 is needed for VP17. Previous versions of Ignite Pro do not function in VP17.
A forum search using Ignite Pro 4.1 will find several posts back in Aug/Sept just after VP17's release. Also, there are a couple of posts re this on FXHome's Ignite Pro forum:
Everything works so far with VP 17 Hitfilm, Ignite. FXHome Action Pro is standalone, or so it seems. It is Ignite 4.1. Seems unbelievable, but you get the codes for the latest versions.
The latest versions, all around. $30. INCLUDES Mocha (dont' ask me how/why - my conjecture is some software manufactures want to increase user base for future upgrades, also there is a charity component to HB, which make introduce a tax write-off component, who knows? We've seen Vegas there before, but older versions. These are the current releases)
Mocha Hitfilm ($50 add on to Hitfilm express and probably Post as well) , Ignite, several other programs, year subscription to Film Strip Pro, which is sound tracks. The bundle is worth maybe $800
I submitted a request for verification. They advertise bundle "regular price" at $1600 and change, so that would be for purchase. There is a "reedmable until" idea mentioned, IOW, your keys are redeemable for ninety days or so....so that might be the "time out" -- but I'm glad you raised this issue. I will report immediately when I get some clarification Sorry to others if this is some sort of "fine print" gotcha idea.
So far: automated response:
Thank you for contacting Humble Bundle Support!
This is an automated message to confirm that we have received your email for help (case #1554339) and are currently assigning it to one of our roaming support Ninjas.
We will work as quickly as we can to get back to you.
There is no "time out" and the list here is inclusive of other software I purchased outright from FXHome, and they all are consistent. So, I do believe the "expiration" date was the last date to obtain and employ the key, not it's "end of contract" date. But, again, I'm waiting to verify one way or the other.
This then is the deal of the year. Christmas presents came early!

Yea, I was thinking about upgrading my VEGAS Pro cause I had nothing better to do, but this... after actually using it, will definitely replace it as my "small project NLE."
Like most "smaller"/down-market NLEs, it has terrible media management; so I could never use this for larger project.
It's going to be a huge upgrade for the short (typically ~5min) explainer/demonstration videos that I do on YouTube/Social Media, though.
And I think MAGIX needs to strike a similar deal with BorisFX for Title Studio and Mocha Essentials.
It even comes with a year of updates, however it's stated (after purchase) that the license is for 1 machine only, instead of the usually 3 when you buy from FXHome or a typical reseller.
The keys for the software will expire if you do not use them before that date. Simple. The software will work with upgrades from the date you activate it.
Filmstro I've been using for almost 3 years now. My expiration with them is Jan1 2020 and it would cost me $99 to renew for another year. That's when I will "activate" Filmstro. The software is easy to use and there is a LOT of music.
I have Ignite Pro 4.1 (which you will download, just like the latest version of Hitfilm Pro) and it works in VP17 just fine. My "free updates" expired at the end of last month. I'll wait until March 2020 to activate it again for another year of upgrades.
I am not a fan of Hitfilm for editing. I did try Hitfilm Express a while back. Not my "cup of tea". I don't do much composite/special fx either, which Hitfilm does. But I will activate it before the keys expire.
Then there are all those After Effects stuff that I really can't use. But all those ActionVFX will work great in my current project.
I got into Vegas Pro because of the Humble Bundle for VP14 Edit and some other Magix stuff. I never ever considered Vegas Pro for editing. Never. Ugly interface. But for the cost of the Humble Bundle, I gave it a shot. I upgraded to VP15/16 Suites, and now VP17 Suite, all because of that Humble Bundle deal.
@Former user I see where it says it's redeemable for one device, but the EULA when you download the software says:
1.5 You may:
(a) download, install and use the Software on three computers for your personal use (if you are a consumer) or for commercial purposes (if you are a business) only;
Well.. i bought the bundle and i tried encoding for youtube (h.264,12 mbit, rtx2080ti) a one hour video with one audio track in both VP17 and HFP..
HFP ~ 48 minutes
VP17 ~ 25 minutes.
At least i got the Ignite Pro plugins in Vegas..
There's a TON of fx in Hitfilm, you open in the Vegas timeline, right click on your media event and you will see "Edit in Hitfilm." This is for compositing, color, distorting whatever, plus Mocha for rotoscoping, masking, there is none better...so, you don't use it as a replacement for Vegas, as per a NLE.

After you click 'edit in hitfilm' do some tracking with Mocha, what is the process after that?
Obviously the HitFilm basic version will not have the export options of ofx or standalone. You render from hitfilm and bring back into vegas either the rendered shapes or composite?
Thanks for the tip :) Bought it right away, I always check HB once a month or so, a few weeks back there was an 2d Animation back with Crazytalk etc., was a great deal also ^ There is also Fanatical if one is interested, the same sort of charity-based system, more games focused but every few months software also...
1. You only receive 1 activation, rather than 3 activations, per sale/license 2. You have to activate your Humble Bundle key within a certain timeframe or it expires - quoting directly from the site: "One key redeemable per device. A single key supports one device only (multiple devices require multiple keys). Internet connection required for online activation. Keys expire on 3/31/2020." Therefore the keys are for new sales only, they don't work as a replacement for renewals.
... and ...
The keys that Humble provide start their 12 months of free updates the SECOND you buy the bundle. Not when you register them to your account.
Though I'm unclear about it, it seems as though the HB purchase will hopefully include updates for 12 months, it's not excatly clear whether or not it can be extended for another 2 months. If yes, then again presumably, the extension will be for one device only, not three via the usual full retail purchase method.
Notwithstanding, there was an pertinent comment on the FXHome forum post: it's only $30USD or so, and you do get a lot of bonus apps with the HB purchase even if you don't need to use the HFP part of the purchase if you already have the 3 activations HFP version. Of course, if you don't need or use the 3 activations model, then this could make it an even better deal.
