I have a few requests I would love to see added/tweaked in further builds. It's doubtfull any of them will be addressed unless there is an overwealming request for them. Here it goes:
-Pan/Crop....I'd like the ability back to nudge the box using only the arrows keys. Granted I know you can do so by choosing the axis on the left but it's so much easier just to simply use the arrow keys. Maybe even set some of the other planes to "alt+arrow key" or something like that..so almost all adjustments can be done with the arrows (and buttons+arrow combinations)
- Timeline cursor.....I like the fact you guys added the ability to click and drag the cursor for a scrub view of the timeline. I don't, however, like that you have to click, let go, then click again to get the arrows to move the timeline cursor. Is there a way to make it act similar to (may I even say...) Premiere cursor in that I can click and drag quickly without this extra step. Maybe alter it or make an option to alter the behavior requiring the user to hold down a keyboard button while dragging to create a selection. That you can have the quick responsiveness of the cursor all the while maintaining the ability to still drag selections.
- UI....I've read many gripes about it. Personally I don't dislike it- it's definitly more of a soft XP'ish. Now I know it supports XP themes but the only way to really tweak your theme is change it to the Windows 2000 Theme. I personally would like to tweak the interface separate of my OS global theme. Maybe more sliders to adjust contrast- I really like the charcoal contrasty look in NLEs
- Nestable Timelines...I know this has been beaten to death...my question IS...is this something even within the scope of a- b, c, d, etc level patch?
If you at least consider any of these I'd greatly appreciate it- as would many loyal customers. Thanks. -Glen
