Hyperthreading

I only have one computer but it is a 3.2ghz hyperthreading proc. My question is this. Would i get any increases in rendering if i created a network node on this machine and have "2" render nodes going?

Yes you would. This is one of my favorive Network Render tricks. You can create a 3-computer system with 6 render nodes this way.

It is a very arcane proceedure, for those comfortable with DOS however. I demonastrate this in detail in The Vegas 5 Companion.
