Download it again as it may have gotten corrupted somehow.

I already did it and it was exactly the same thing...
And it was in two different computers that meet the requeriments.
I think the problem it's not the download.

Are you sure you DOWNLOADED Vegas? Sure you are not trying to install from a bad CD version? Your error message usually is the result of trying to read a bad CD.

Both computers are PC.
Windows XP sp2, .net Framework 2, DirectX 9.0c (last version),
P4 3.2 GHz, 1 GB Ram, one of them with Audigy 2 and the other with
Digi 001 (Pro Tools), my computer has a PCI express video card with 256 MB and my friend's computer has aa AGP video card also with 256 MB.
The file was downloaded twice. With both files I had the problem.
And it is "vegas70b-trial.exe". I'm really sure what file it is.
