I can't open Vegas Pro...

I am extremely disappointed that I cannot use the program after the update!

This is absurd. Please test them thoroughly before releasing updates. All of us have paid to work with the program, not for it to be full of bugs. I haven't been able to start the program for about an hour and a half and I can't get my work done because the program just won't start and when I want to download the 403 build it's super slow to download. Also no one mentions anywhere if I should delete vegas and install the new update or if I should just install the update without deleting the program. Also, for 6 months you have not removed the problem I am talking about in this post - https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/very-strange-audio-problem--138343/#ca878846

And this is not the first time, please understand that I use this program for 15 hours a day and I like it very much, I understand that you want to add new things to it, but at least do not destroy it. Thanks!

Deleting Vegas Pro has never been required in order to install an update - and nor was it necessary to install build 403 over build 402 for me today.

The problem wasn't the update- all builds of VP 19 and 20 appear to be affected. A patch for 20 came out within the days so the team clearly treated it as an emergency (which it was!)

You never need to uninstall the program to install an update- each update is self-contained and can be installed over the original installation.

The audio problem fix wasn't in the release notes so I share your disappointment with that.

@TheSoundTV The recent Vegas update is not the issue. The issue is from a recent Windows 11 update. So installing the new build 403 should fix the issue.

Finally i install the Build 403 and everything works fine. Then fk the windows 11 and thanks for the fast update. i am half disappointed now.

I’m using vp19. I’ve bought 20 but haven’t installed it yet (I don’t want to lose pluraleyes, which works in vp19)

vp19 crashes on opening, just like the problem reported with vp20. Is there a fix for vp19, or only for 20?
I’m stuck with five projects waiting to be edited..,

Yes, I have the FREE version of DaVinci Resolve recently installed and am still finding my way around it. Appears to be amazing bang and stability for free.
