One of the nicest and most reasonable priced clip logging programs is CatDV 8.0 by Square Box in the UK (http://www.squarebox.co.uk/standard.html). It is a wonderful cataloging program - I used to use it with CineStream 3.1 - but - it only works with Quicktime MOV wrapper files (which CineStream used.)
So I does anyone know what is available to capture out of a Canon HV30 to a mov file in Windows?
I know Cineform NeoHD will do it but I can't afford to pay $370 over NeoScene just for something to wrap a file in MOV. Everything I can find for Windows wants to transcode it not just re-wrap it.
Thanks,
HalD
