Very impressive timing and creativity and I was really amazed by it but if you watch the split version you will see discrepancies with the positioning of the girls feet at the end of the video. So while I appreciate that it was done in one take, they make have edited at least two of the "one" takes together. Still very impressive. I enjoyed it.

Yeah, I couldn't tell if it was a different take, or if they had adjusted the sync.

They definitely adjusted the sync but when all of the people are behind the screen at the end, the original girl all the way on the right has her foot almost in profile in one video and almost facing forward in the other. Definitely another take but still impressive that they did all of those in one take. Although I am always amazed at all the steps that dancers can remember so I guess if this girl had a dancing background it was just one long dance move to her but still impressive to mere mortals like me. ;-)

And here's the "Behind the Screen" view:

Split screen showing both at the same time:

Did you catch the visual and voice slate...?

From what I can see it looks to me as though the final was actually one take and that they did one take without the screen just to show how they did it. They weren't claiming that the behind the scenes or the split screen was the actual final take they used, just that it was a behind the scenes so continuity between the two clips is irrelevant. Also in the Behind The Scenes there is no visual or voice slate. I don't think this was meant to be deceptive, only to demonstrate how they pulled it off. I think they actually did use the screen in the "real" version but left it down in the demonstration version. When she lifts the screen up in the actual version the bottom of it wobbles.

Pure speculation on my part, either way I thought it was pretty brilliant. =)

What I like is that technically it's simple (re: hide people behind a couch with props, and rehearse a LOT). What's impressive is its creativity and commitment to the idea of the projector and the live person. Makes me think there were theatre people involved in the concept because it's a very theatrical idea as opposed to a video idea.

Love it.

Just amazing. I kept looking at her legs below the screen and how perfectly they matched up with the image on the screen above.
That took a lot of practice to get the entire sequence timed JUST right.
