I do not have "insert generated music' option

Hi,
I have an upgrade version of VMS Platinum 9 Pro Pack. I have the version that does not come with the Cinescore 1.0 plug-in with the serial number. I have the VMS 9 version that has a sound effects folder and a music folder on the disc. I have copied and pasted these folders into my Sony folder.

Support says I should just be able to open a Vegas project, right-click on an audio track, or choose 'insert' from the menu bar, and click on the option 'insert generated music.'

This option does not appear on either. It is not even listed. It's not like it's there but it's grayed-out. I'm saying the option is not listed at all.

Is there a way to get it to appear, or am I just going to have use the 'import media' from the project media' tab?

Insert - Generated Music is how you get Cinescore to insert music on the timeline. You said in your post you don't have Cinescore so it makes sense that you would not have that option. For any sound effects discs, you would just browse to the music files and drag them to the timeline.
