I do not have Optical Flow in my Slow Motion FX. Vegas Pro 20 Edit

Hey,

My 2nd shooter accidently shot some clips during a wedding day at 24p but I need to slow a few down. I brought up the Slow Motion FX on the clips but it does NOT have Optical Flow

I am at Version 403

I think it has it by default, but the easiest way to do it is to enable optical flow frame resampling in project settings, and then hold ctrl while clicking and dragging on the right side of the clip to slow it down to the desired speed.

Systems:

Desktop

AMD Ryzen 7 1800x 8 core 16 thread at stock speed

64GB 3000mhz DDR4

Geforce RTX 3090

Windows 10

Laptop:

ASUS Zenbook Pro Duo 32GB (9980HK CPU, RTX 2060 GPU, dual 4K touch screens, main one OLED HDR)

Yes that will work better. I have always set that to Disable Resample

I always thought Disable Resampling was the best way to set the Project Settings?

@Sandhill_Films see also this recent thread about slow motion and the impact of the different resampling methods:

I just finished some slomo segments, and the Vegas Slomo Effect uses optical flow, by all indications.

My experience (today) is that optical flow used by the Slomo Effect is probably not GPU supported (renders much slower but also with better quality result) than the GPU supported optical flow used by project or event resampling (which renders much faster but also with a much less quality result).
