I will **guess** that the script was made for Vegas 4.0 and you're running Vegas 5.0, correct?

If so, as per the Sony Help File:

To use scripts that were created for Vegas 4.0 software, you'll need to revise the script's namespace from SonicFoundry.Vegas to Sony.Vegas. For example, the line that includes "import SonicFoundry.Vegas;" should be changed to "import Sony.Vegas;" before running the script.

Lex:

Like Kent said, you're apparantly running the V4 script. Since you can't change the script, Roger has a DL for V5 at the same site. Try it

I'm having the exact same problem, same error. I'm using Vegas 4.0, and I d/led the quake version FOR 4.0 and this is the error I got. I even tried installing the one for 5.0 (in case they were labelled wrong) and it wouldn't even install. so I have the correct one, it just doesn't work :( any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

What version of Vegas 4 are you running?
Prophetjon wrote on 9/28/2004, 12:57 PM
version 4.0b

Try upgrading to 4.0e and see if that helps. There were MANY new scripting features added in the later versions of 4.0?.

Click on the word "DOWNLOAD" in the upper right corner of this webpage, click "Updates", search for Vegas Update 4.0e and click on it.
