I can't seem to be able to convert a .veg file into an MP4 file. What could be the problem, and the solution to the problem? I'm still using trial to see if I should buy this
A veg file is a project file. This is the information that Vegas uses to track your editing decisions. To create an MP4, you need to RENDER. Please find tutorials for using Vegas. There are plenty on youtube.
But I tried to render. I did everything I could. It even said it would render it as an MP4 but it did not do that.
A veg.file cannot be converted to an mp4.file. A veg.file is just an instruction file for Vegas of the editing actions you have done in Vegas. To get an mp4.file of your edited project you should export/render your veg.file directly out of Vegas.

Better start with a copy of Vegas Movie Studio, it has a renderwizard to help beginners with rendering.
File>Open>(open your .veg project)
File>Render As.
What should I render it as. When it's rendering it it says ''Rendering (Video Name).mp4'' but when fully rendered, it's still not an MP4
I have no other problems, is this making it into an MP4 maybe a full version exclusive thing?
To what platform do you want your file going to?
If 'general MP4', then I prefer go for Magix AVC/AAC MP4 - Internet HD 1080p 29.97 fps (frame rate depends on your source media frame rate).
For my video camcorder source file, I will choose Internet HD 1080p 25 fps.
I take video of gaming, and post it to youtube. I have a decent computer, but not high end, and it's not that bad either.
Okay, I solved the problem, I need to upload it directly to youtube from vegas pro with one of the options
File>Share Online>Upload to Youtube
