At the end of that intro, I want the viewer to be taken to the opening page which will include the "Play All" and "Scene Selection" buttons.
What is the best way to achieve this?

The simplest way to do this is to set the introductory piece as the DVD Start item and set its end action to open the menu (which would, of course, no longer be the opening page).
