I have multiple drives use vegas 19 pro from a vegas post purchase windows 10. Can I move the the vegas folder to other drives freely without issues to see if that changes anything. Is fresh installation a resolution to this error ?
Over the years, some have reported on the forum problems using Vegas Pro that may have been caused by installing on a drive other than the C drive. If you want to try installing Vegas Pro on another drive, you will need to uninstall first and then go through the full installation process again selecting the other drive during that install process. However, if the current install problem is related to that outlined in the Help Centre's advice, just installing on another drive is unlikely to resolve the problem because the NET Framework issue will stuill remain.
If it is the '707' that is concerning you, all the links to the error pages on the Help Centre seem to have a 3 digit numeral at the end of URL - they have nothing to do with the error code number at all.
I didn't delete my redistributable c++ but I recently reinstalled some components I had a similar issue last update I tried recommended fixes from the documentation regarding this error code but they don't work it was fixed after I reboot and did some updates. I recently changed the drive it was on I don't think cloning my old drive caused an issue although it might have I'm not sure why it struggles like this to fully update.
